We get quite a few clients who are Zimbabwean nationals who need to go back to Zimbabwe for various reasons, and need to use their documents there. As a result of this, they are looking to use our Zimbabwe notary services to get their documents notarised for use in Zimbabwe.

We can also assist anyone who is not from Zimbabwe, but still plans on going there and needs to use their documents.

As a result, we have created this useful blog to guide you through what Zimbabwe notary services we offer to people who want to go there.

The Zimbabwe notary services we offer

Our expert Notary Public, Nathan Woodcock, can assist you with all manners of documents.

Some of the most popular documents we have dealt with for Zimbabwe include:

  • Marriage Certificates; for Zimbabwean Marriage Certificates or certificates from other countries, UK certificates cannot be notarised)
  • Powers of Attorney; for example, if you plan on selling property in Zimbabwe but cannot travel to sell it yourself
  • Affidavits; for example, if you are going through divorce proceedings or anything else involving the Zimbabwean courts

However, we will assist you with any other documents, such as the Child Travel Consent form, academic qualifications, business documents,or any other documents you plan on using in Zimbabwe.

You can view lists of the personal documents and business documents we deal with on our website.

Legalisation services for Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is not a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, so we cannot help you get an apostille for documents intended to be used in Zimbabwe.

Additionally, Zimbabwe does not require embassy legalisation instead of accepting apostilles.

However, you should check with the Zimbabwean authorities that your documents are valid for use in Zimbabwe.
