Key services you may need

Notarisation
A Notary Public is authorised to certify documents for use in foreign jurisdictions. They sign and seal documents, attesting to their authenticity. You can find out more about notaries, here.

Legalisation
Legalisation is the process whereby the signature and seal of a Notary Public (or other authorised official), for example, is checked by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). The FCDO will then issue the signed document with an apostille – this is a certificate of authenticity. Find out more about legalisation and how we might be able to help, here.
