Trains
Exit out of the train station towards Sheaf Square and cross over the A61 using the traffic lights on the right hand side. When you’ve safely crossed, walk right towards the Electric Works building. When you reach that building, continue walking up the ramp. We are located in the third grey building from the left.
Car
The A57, A61 and A6135 are all potential routes into the city centre.
The M1 and M18 have links to these roads.
Google Maps, Apple Maps, or any other map app can help you find the route that best suits you.
Bus
Exit the Sheffield Interchange onto Pond Hill. Walk along Pond Hill until you get to the end, where it meets the A61. Ponds Forge should be on your left. Our building is one of the four on your right, on the opposite side of Pond Hill.
Walk alongside of the A61, and you will see four buildings to your right. Our Notary Public Sheffield office is in the building that is second from the right as you walk down.
For the most up to date public transport information, please consult Traveline (bus), National Express (coach) and National Rail (train).
Where to park
There are a few car parks to choose from in the Sheffield City Centre. Sheffield is a small city, so the walk from a car park to our Notary Public Sheffield office should not take too long.
The following car parks are a short walk from the office:
Q-Park Sheffield Station – the entrance is on Turner Street; this is near the Sheffield Train Station
Q-Park Castlegate – the entrance is on Broad Street
Arundel Gate Car Park – there are two entrances; one is on Arundel Gate, while the other is Milk Street, which branches off of Norfolk Street
On-street parking is available on some nearby roads, such as on Pond Street.
JustPark is a useful tool for finding different areas to park in, and it also allows you to pre-book. Also, the websites for NCP and Q-Park can help you find car parks they own in Sheffield. The sites also tell you how many parking spaces each car park has.
Sheffield City Council’s website also has a map of car parks, as well as those suitable for disabled drivers. Also, there is a map of charging locations for electric vehicles.Â
Alternatively, you could use the park and ride service. This is where you park your car near a tram stop and take the tram into town. Depending on which direction you are coming from, there are several park and ride locations that may be suitable for you. South Yorkshire Travel’s website has a full list of the locations, alongside a map.
For example, you could park at the Nunnery Square park and ride, which is near the end of the A57 that leads into the city centre.
