Certificate of Incorporation

Certificate of Incorporation

What is the Certificate of Incorporation UK?

The Certificate of Incorporation is a document that is issued by Companies House and shows when your company was registered with them.

It includes the full name of your company, its date of incorporation, your company’s registration number, and your registrar’s seal.

If you want to begin business operations in other countries, then you will likely be asked to provide this document when you register your company abroad.

We have a blog about the Certificate of Incorporation in 2024 if you want to learn more about this useful document.

Why you need a Notary Public

You will need a Notary Public if you plan on beginning business operations abroad. The country you plan on operating in may require that you get your Certificate of Incorporation UK notarised, and then given an apostille.

Here at Woodcock Notary Public, we can help you with both of these processes. Our notary can meet you at one of our offices in London, Manchester, or Sheffield. where you can then get your documents notarised. Alternatively, you can make use of our mobile notary service, which allows you to book your notary appointment at a reasonable time and place that suits you.

We can also help you get an apostille for your certificate. We work closely with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office to do this. We have a standard apostille service that takes 10 to 15 days for your documents to be given an apostille, as well as a fast-track service that takes 5 to 7 days.

For countries that do not accept apostilles, we can assist you with embassy and consular legalisation. We do this by closely working with your target country to ensure that they meet their requirements.

If you need our help with getting your Certificate of Incorporation UK notarised, or with getting an apostille for it, then get in touch with us today.
