Writing a will
The writing of wills can be an emotional topic, that is why we take great care in any matters related to our wills services. A will is an important document that everyone should have to make sure everything is in order after they are gone.
In England and Wales, two independent witnesses must be present when a will is signed.
Any executors of the will should have a Grant of Probate certificate, which you can learn more about on its own webpage.
You can read our blog on writing a will if you need any help in that regard. Please note that we cannot assist you with drafting wills ourselves. Our wills services deal with other areas.
Our wills services – why you need a Notary Public
Witness a will signing
Our notary can act as one of the witnesses to the signing of wills. Having a third party who is knowledgeable in legal matters can be useful to have as a witness.
Notarisation, certification and legalisation
As a registered notary public, we can carry out the notarisation and certification of any documents, such as wills and Grants of Probate. With our mobile notary service, you can arrange your notary appointment to be at a time and place that suits you.
Also, we can help you get an apostille for your important documents if you intend on using them overseas, in a country that accepts apostilles. We can do this by working closely with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office to get your will or other documents an apostille.
We offer a standard and fast-track apostille service, so there is an option that suits your required timescale.
Any countries that do not accept apostilles will require embassy legalisation; this is also something we can help you with.
